Chas specializes in providing high-quality patent services. He has multiple decades of experience split between law and engineering. He sells the patentability of inventions by emphasizing how their novel solutions address technical problems.
Before law, he was at the Boeing Company, where he held a variety of roles including flight testing, simulation engineering, electrical engineering, project management, systems engineering, and hardware and software development. A career highlight was in field service being embedded with the Marine Corps during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His diverse technical background has helped him gain legal experience patenting a wide range of technologies related to these and other technologies related to physics, mechanical systems, electrical systems, electro-mechanical systems, and computer technology spaces.
His wife is from Denmark and together they raise two school-aged boys who compete in Tae Kwon Do. Chas decompresses by playing drums, bass guitar, and harmonica in his one-man garage band. He likes smoking meat on the weekends and (when the weather is nice) being a hobby horse farmer.
