Bryce Dumais

Patent Attorney

Registered to practice before the USPTO.

Bryce’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a variety of technologies, including machine learning, content creation and post-processing, and e-commerce and digital marketing.

Bryce’s original technical background is in Mechanical Engineering, where he gained experience with material science and composites engineering while constructing a heavy-lift drone. He also co-invented a CPR device for use in mobile ambulance settings that outperforms comparable devices. Since then, he has expanded his expertise to a variety of technical fields, including earning a Machine Learning Certificate from Stanford University.

Aside from his interest in technology, Bryce also has a passion for business innovation and has advised startup companies through Gonzaga’s New Venture Lab. He also received the Humphreys Entrepreneurial Scholarship Award for his submission to the Ignite Northwest Business Plan Competition involving the mass application of 360-degree imaging technology to the real-estate market.

As an avid traveler and architecture enthusiast, Bryce enjoys sampling food and practicing photography around the world. He also loves skiing and exploring locally in the Northwest.
